This renovation and interior design project, crafted by Banda Design Studio, is part of a series of 15 residences, each with its own unique personality, situated within a protected historic building in one of London's most sought-after neighborhoods, Notting Hill. Spanning 290 square meters, this three-bedroom residence was conceived by Edo Mapelli Mozzi's studio (who is married to Princess Beatrice). The deep and warm palette is characterized by a blend of navy and gray fabrics, woods, brass, and bronze accents, as well as touches of orange. Noble materials like marble were also used throughout the house, creating theatrical effects and balancing with the warmth of wool, linen, and velvet. All these elements are complemented by the greenery of the surrounding park outside.

What's it like living inside the world's narrowest house?

Farrow & Ball's Ammonite gray color on the walls provides the perfect backdrop for abstract artwork and sculptures that offer visual surprises in various corners. In the living room, adorned with a beautiful marble fireplace, a Janssen coffee table, two Rich Owen side tables, Srelle’s Pierre Jeannerets, the Cloud pendant lamp by Apparatus, and a Vincenzo De Cotiis floor lamp create a refined and cozy atmosphere, complemented by a touch of freshness from a plant.

In the dining room, Espasso's Cantu chairs surround a custom-made marble and bronze table. In the spacious kitchen at the rear of the house, the impressive Calacatta Oro marble island stands out; this space features glass doors opening onto a private terrace.

The staircase leads to the two upper floors. One houses the master bedroom, which has access to and views of the garden. With its velvet headboard, chaise lounge Sven Engström and Gunnar Myrstrand bedside tables, and Eric Schmitt's Anneau pendant lamp, it's an ultra-chic sanctuary. On the lower level, the luxurious and comfortable TV room hides a popcorn machine designed by Banda Design Studio to faithfully recreate a home theater experience.
